Poodles are an official dog breed at, which is divided into large poodles (also king poodles), small poodles (also medium poodles) and dwarf poodles or toy poodles. They all have the same characteristics, only the size is different. The CollectA figure represents the Miniature Poodle. There is still a debate about the origin of the breed, whether the Poodle from Germany descended from a type of water dog or the French Barbet. The Poodle is considered the second most intelligent dog breed, which is very skilled in many dog sports. These include agility, obedience, tracking and rounding up a herd, circus performers and assistance work.
