CollectA Protoceratops with movable Jaw true to scale 88874

A small herbivorous Ceratopia dinosaur that lived about 70-83 million years ago in the late Cretaceous period and was about 1.8 m long. He lived in the dry and rain-poor regions of what is now Mongolia and China. His sharp beak and teeth helped him cope with the dry and hard vegetation. It is assumed that the pronotum was used for species
recognition or for self-portrayal in the mating ritual. The shape was different from animal to animal and the reason for this diversity is not fully understandable. The
Protoceratops was prey to the Velociraptors. The CollectA model was equipped with a movable
beak and was shown because of the small original size in a ratio of 1: 6.
Some people believe that the idea that the
mythical bird was born from the fossils of Protoceratops Griffin once existed.
