The Schleich black bull strides along elegantly and proudly. Bulls are male uncastrated domestic cattle. The black bull became a national emblem of Spain through a 1950s nationwide billboard advertising campaign for a brandy over the years. There are still about 88 of the giant metal bulls standing along the country roads of Spain. The advertising sign ´was removed due to a change in the law after nine in 1988. Even today, the black bull can be found as a symbol on the travel souvenirs, stickers, flags, etc.
