The white-tailed cow lives in North and South Ameriapprox. Its coat coloration changes depending on the season: in summer it is reddish, in winter it is almost gray.
The coat coloration of the tail has given the animal its name. It is brown on the upper side and white on the underside. When the white-tailed cow is on the run, she straightens her tail and you can see the white side from behind as a flight signal.
The white-tailed cow gives birth once a year. Usually there are one to two calves. Very rarely, there may even be three or four.
