Description
CollectA Baryonyx 88872
item number: c88872A Theropoda dinosaur from the Spinosauridae family that lived in England and parts of Europe in the Early Cretaceous 125-130 million years ago. It was probably partially aquatic
and a fish eater, although the bones of a young iguanodon were found in the stomach of each specimen
(or original specimen). This provided evidence that he was even looking for and hunted prey. Research on Britain´s Isle of Wight has shown that the
animal had a longer vertebra than was usually thought and that it formed a ridge of the back. This model replaces the original CollectA model, which is now obsolete.
approx. L = 19cm
